aBBA Designs was founded by Maryam Abbarin (B.A.Arch) with years of experience in various projects in West Midlands as well as The Greater London Area

Site Surveys

We carry out inspections of the area where work is proposed, to gather information for your bespoke design or an estimate to complete the initial tasks required for the activities to be carried out.

We apply for Permitted development rights, which are a national grant of planning permission which allow certain building works and changes of use to be carried out without having to make a planning application. In this case there is no waiting time of eight weeks.

Feasibility Study

We also specialise in carrying out an assessment of whether the project will be feasible. The purpose of feasibility studies is to establish whether the project is financially or practically viable.

Mechanical and Electrical Designs

We can include and tailor in Mechanical and Electrical designs which can include elements of electrical infrastructure,, heating and ventilation and any other electrical appliances and instruments.

Structural Designs and Calculations

We do the math behind your building's ability to stay upright. The engineers use them to determine the loads that a building must withstand and the properties of members that comprise its structure

Project Management

We oversee all phases of the initial design process all the way to the construction process, making sure the project is completed on time and within scope and budget. This role works closely with architects and engineers to develop plans, establish timelines and calculate labor and material costs.

Tender Documents

We help write and manage Tender Documents, contract or tender documents in construction industry are an agreement between two parties which they intend to be legally binding with respect to the obligations of each party to the other and their liabilities

Building Control Services

According to the Construction Health and Safety to protect people's health and safety in the built environment. This involves, among other things, enforcing the following legislation: The Building Act 1984. The Building Regulations and other allied legislation.

Planning Application

We apply for Planning permission or developmental approval which refers to the approval needed for construction or expansion, and sometimes for demolition, in some jurisdictions. It is usually given in the form of a building permit. Waiting times for the application are around eight weeks.
